Our workshops for graduate students are interactive sessions that combine content delivery, discussion, and interacting with writing through reading and practice.
Grad Workshops
Our graduate student workshops address a variety of topics relevant to graduate student writing, and focus on generating lots of discussion and practice in order to build collective expertise in the room. Facilitated by our Graduate Writing Consultants, our workshops are built by graduate students, for graduate students. During your workshop, you can expect to be engaged in the process of discovering generalizable writing principles connected to the workshop topic, in the company of graduate student peers.
Our aims for each of our grad student workshops are:
- That you leave knowing something you didn't know before
- That you leave feeling more empowered and positive about the writing process going forward
